Fall Prevention Giving Grant For Area Agency on Aging
Helping to Raise Awareness About Fall Prevention Programs, Including The Matter of Balance Program
Total Annual Funding is up to $3,500.00
Each individual grant recipient is awarded up to $350.00. Additionally, each grant recipient receives hands-on assistance with digital advocacy of national leaders on fall prevention.
Grant recipients must adhere to our communication guidelines.
The purpose of our mini grant is to enhance communication between Area Agencies on Aging (“AAA”) and organizations committed to fall prevention in order to raise awareness about local fall prevention programs for older adults, like the Matter of Balance program.
To achieve this goal, grant recipients will receive 1) digital marketing advocacy provided by S&T and 2) a financial award of up to $350.00 to pay for the cost to distribute a Press Release to announce the successful presentation of a fall prevention program.
Any AAA can receive the Grant. For purposes of this grant, a AAA is defined as a non-profit agency designated by a state to address the needs and concerns of all older persons.
A AAA may submit only one grant request per year.

The application deadline for applying for the 2020 mini-grants is 5:00 p.m. (EST) on August 31, 2020. If selected, a Grant recipient will receive notification of their award by September 30, 2020.
If a AAA fails to meet the deadline noted above, their applications will be considered ineligible and will not be considered for funding.
